Clear, fact-based education about Medical Assistance in Dying (MAiD) in Canada.
We’re Paul and Kim, Registered Nurses based in British Columbia with nearly twenty years of combined experience in palliative care and more than eight years each working directly with Medical Assistance in Dying (MAiD).
We provide clear, fact-based information about MAiD in Canada while respectfully challenging misinformation when it appears. Our goal is to help people better understand this important health care option and the realities of end-of-life care.
All of our educational work is freely available because access to accurate information about MAiD should never be a barrier. For those who are able, we welcome support to help us continue this work.

What we do
If you’re looking for thoughtful, fact-based conversation about Medical Assistance in Dying (MAiD), we’d be glad to connect. We regularly speak with community groups, health care teams, and professional organizations about topics such as how MAiD works in Canada, MAiD and dementia, MAiD and mental illness, and how families can support loved ones at the end of life.
We’re also happy to join podcasts, panel discussions, webinars, and media interviews. Presentations can be arranged in person when possible or delivered virtually through Zoom, Teams, or similar platforms. If you’re interested in working together, please send us a message using the form below and tell us a little about your event or project. We’ll be in touch soon.
