Clear, fact-based education about Medical Assistance in Dying (MAiD) in Canada.
We’re Paul and Kim, Registered Nurses based in British Columbia with nearly twenty years of experience in palliative care and more than seven years each working directly with Medical Assistance in Dying (MAiD).
Through our Substack newsletter, videos, and public talks, we provide clear, fact-based information about MAiD in Canada while respectfully challenging misinformation when it appears. Our goal is to help people better understand this important health care option and the realities of end-of-life care.
We regularly speak about topics such as MAiD and dementia, MAiD and mental illness, the history of MAiD in Canada, and how the MAiD process works. All of our educational work is offered free of charge because we believe accurate information about MAiD should be accessible to everyone.
